CBR YouthConnect staff member Brooke Williams recently had the privilege of attending the Scholar Donor Lunch hosted by the Pueblo Community College Foundation. During the event, she joined fellow donors and had the opportunity to meet three inspiring scholarship recipients.
One of those students, Braxton Pierce, is currently enrolled in PCC’s welding program. Although he already holds a degree and works as a property manager, Braxton is eager to transition into a career that allows him to use his creativity, maximize his productivity, and truly enjoy the work he does. His story reflects the power of education to open new doors—and the importance of supporting programs that help individuals pursue their goals and dreams.
This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of the Cecil H. and Ester T. Anderson Trust, and CBR YouthConnect is honored to help administer this award to a deserving student each year. We are grateful to the Pueblo Community College Foundation for their partnership and shared commitment to expanding opportunity for Colorado students.
