Yamilet is brave, creative and resourceful. School work has not always been a priority for her, but in the last year she committed to showing up and making the grades. Now, she is proud of her work and has become an excellent student. She chose to use her special opportunity grant to purchase a sewing machine and camera to pursue training and a career in fashion design. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
