Hawa is a hero many times over. She is a teammate, a competitor, and a scholar. She loves basketball. She plays hard, studies harder, and dreams big.
She hopes to one day study medicine and become a doctor, but Hawa isn’t just building a better life for herself—she is honoring the journey that brought her here, and the future she is building. She’s using her special opportunity grant to grow her skills at basketball camp this summer and she will graduate next year.
